Landowners & Leasing
Leasing your land for geologic hydrogen
Fremantle Lake CA LLC is actively leasing across California. This page explains what leasing involves, in plain terms, and gives you a way to start the conversation.
The basics
What does a geothermal lease mean?
A lease gives Fremantle Lake permission to explore for geothermal resources, including geologic hydrogen, while you keep ownership of your land.
In practice, that means we can study what lies deep underground and, if the science supports it, work to bring geothermal resources, including clean hydrogen, to the surface responsibly. You are compensated for that right through the terms of the lease.
We encourage every landowner to review any agreement with their own attorney or advisor. Our goal is a fair, transparent relationship, not a rushed signature.
Why consider it
What leasing can offer you
A new income stream
A lease can pay you for the right to explore beneath your land, turning idle acreage into recurring value.
Support domestic energy
Your land could help prove a clean, homegrown energy source that strengthens California and US energy security.
No cost to explore it
Learning whether your parcel is a fit costs you nothing, and there is no obligation to proceed.
